  • In winter: – How to reach the Angerer Alm

Take the Harschbichl cable car to the mountain station and ski down to our inn. Attention: The last cable car leaves at 3.45 pm. Please park your car in the mountain cable car park (please put a note behind the windscreen ‘Guests of the Angerer Alm’). You can hand in your luggage at the boarding point in the valley station. It will be brought to the hut on the goods hoist. Please attach a note to your baggage stating ‘Angerer Alm’ as well as your arrival and departure dates to avoid any confusion.

Luggage may be delivered up to 4.30pm as passengers have priority during the operating hours of the cable cars.

The guests who make the way to the Angerer Alm by foot, carrying the backpack themselves, are rewarded with a revitalizing refreshment – a glass of sparkling wine against the backdrop of the mountains.

GOOD TO KNOW: Unfortunately, after 4pm no transport is possible to the mountain. You can walk to our Alm via the Müllneralm, this takes approximately 25 minutes. It is possible to drive to the Müllneralm via Oberndorf over Wiesenschwang/Haslach. Hikers can rent snow-shoes at the Koasaburg

  • In summer: – How to reach the Angerer Alm

In summer our guests can easily drive to the Angerer Alm on the gravel road. For day- and hiking guests the access by car is not allowed. From the branch-off St. Johann Süd passing the Egger-Werk and the camping ground you reach Apfeldorf. Directly at the sign “St. Johann in Tirol” in Apfeldorf you go in the direction of the Kitzbüheler Horn to the Gasthof Hochfeld. When you reach the road barrier gate, please call us at the Angerer Alm +43 5352 62746 so that we can open the gate by radio. The gravel road leads directly to the Alm.

Walk to the Angerer Alm in 90 minutes. By bike you can reach us in about 60 minutes. Travelling green is possible by train. The closest train station is St. Johann.

The guests who make the way to the Angerer Alm by foot, carrying the backpack themselves, are rewarded with a revitalizing refreshment – a glass of sparkling wine against the backdrop of the mountains.

GOOD TO KNOW: At the mid-way station do not drive through the station but take the road on the right just before the ‘no vehicles allowed sign’. From Apfeldorf it’s about 7 kilometres.
According to the road traffic regulations, drivers are required to drive in a moderate, slow, anticipatory and considerate manner!
